    I bought these because my older ones all went missing these are very bright colours so stand out when im looking for them but are extremely sturdy and easier to use came very quickly so my missing ones did me a favour these are much easier to use thank you

    It’s difficult to find anything that is British made anymore, as nowadays people tend to opt for price over quality. Yes there are cheaper products out there, but here is a quality product, real stainless steel, and in the long term, cost effective. From a company in Sheffield that’s been in business for over 250 years. All of my garden tools are Spear and Jackson, and they have never once let me down, even though I did once have my doubts about a task I tackled with a never bend garden fork. It did the job perfectly though. I wouldn’t be surprised if a foreign company owns Spear & Jackson, though.

    I’d bought a few S&J products in the past, and always been pleased with the quality. That was one of the reasons that I purchased this set. I wasn’t disappointed! You can tell it’s a quality item by the feel, it’s much heavier . Yes it is more expensive, but I feel it’s worth it. I’ve used the trowel a few times and to my mind it will take a lot of pounding before it would bend. Happy gardening

    My wife is a keen gardener (it’s a good job!) and I bought these as a gift (among others!). The set comes in a nice box that can easily be wrapped up before handing over. Each tool has an attractive finish with a quality look and feel. Both handle and business end are sturdy and I am told that in use they perform very well. My wife loves them and she would certainly tell me if there was anything wrong with them, so that’s as good a recommendation as you will get!

    The bright colours on this garden tool set are a great idea as you can spot them easily whilst gardening if you put them down in a border etc. Purchased to replace garden tools with wooden/green handles which have been lost.I have used them several times now and they are really good heavy quality.Was surprised to be asked for ID on delivery though – the edges really aren’t that sharp!
