Thought they looked a bit lightweight when first opened but were sturdy enough , smooth and easy to operate with a quick release . Did the job they were bought for ( holding a 3 meter length of 6×2 whilst it was secured in place).

I have bought a few different types, but these are now my go to for any wood working project.The don’t mark the wood and keep it completly still. Used them to hold down a large MDF board and a guide rail while I cut it with a cicular saw.Easy and quick to adjust.
