So, ordered this spray gun. It arrived super fast…I expect nothing less from Amazon.Well packaged, which was easy to dispose.Now onto the actual product.It was easy to assemble, hose connects easily to compressor on one end and the handheld gun on the other end.The compressor has a comfortably long power cable which made it convenient to use, although i did need to use an extension lead as my garden is quite large.The handheld spray bit has a smallish silver tin which holds your paint etc. because of its small size, I did have to refill quite often. But it was not really an inconvenience. Instead it felt like I was taking small, regular, well deserved breaks.The gun nozzle needs to be adjusted to your needs, at the back of the gun there is an adjustable airflow, it took me less than a minute to work out the best setting for my needs and off I went.The coverage achieved was amazing, I was able to do a fence panel in less than 2 minutes. The coverage was so good that when it came to applying a second coat, I decided there was no need, as the one coat I did was so thorough that it simply did not need a second coat. The gun produces a fine spray with very little overspray, so i did not even bother using masking tape around the edges. I used Ronseal sprayable one coat fence, which went on like butter. The entire job was effortless.Next I went on to do the decking with a very thick no nonsense decking oil. The tin stated that this was not suitable for spraying. The Terratek spray gun simply laughed in the face of the decking oil. I was able to spray a decking area of 8 metres by 10 metres in around 30 minutes. I almost felt like I was cheating and I would be told off. The Terratek is a monster. It can spray anything in no time.2 years ago, i sprayed the same decking and same 25 fence panels and it took me about 3 days to do it all. This year, I was able to do the same work, with a far greater finish in just under 4 hours.My wife went out, I started the job, she came home 5 hours later to find me lounging on the sofa, freshly showered eating cake. She got irritated as she thought I had wasted the day on the sofa. I waited for her to finish her rant, then took her to the garden. Her jaw dropped, I went into smug mode and sat myself back on the sofa, I’d love a cup of tea with this cake i called out at her….I love the Terratek spray gun. It is truly invincible. It was clearly designed by a genius. It makes very tiring, messy work into a quick and easy task.Cleaning the handgun was an easy 2 minute task, abit of detergent and warm water in a bucket and you are done. Ready for its next use.I have since used the Terratek spray gun to respray my bike and iron gate with hammerite paint(very thick stuff) and my previously scuffed alloy wheels, which now look brand new.My Terratek has saved me loads of time and energy. When I read that it can spray even the thickest of paints, I was sceptical, but this product actually does what it claims and more.Possibly now my favourite power toolThe only thing on my mind is this, sprayable fence paint cost alot more than the paintable one. In future, I will not be buying the sprayable tubs, with the Terratek, I can simply buy the cheaper paintable tubs and save a tonne of money at the same time, as my Terratek will go to town on anything.I recommend the Terratek to anyone who is planning on painting anything ever and wants to get it done in a 10th of the time with a better finish.

It’s that season again for painting fences. Wasn’t going to brush for hours.For the price and its capability I’m giving 5 stars. Easy to use and set up. The only thing I would improve on is the cord leg had to use two extension cords for my garden, but again for the price not going to complain.Did exactly as needed. Wouldn’t use it for indoors but for outside it’s great. Choose a different colour and did two coats of the fence in a few hours next day looks good.Would also add it does heat up after a while. Great excuse for a quick break.Also the filling of the paint in the little tub. Goes quick get a big funnel. I make the mistake of hand pouring and paint goes everywhere.Each refill of the paint tub does about 4/5 fences panels going over them twice.

The media could not be loaded. What would usually have taken days, took a few hours with this spray gun.The back of my shed needed treating with a wood stain due to not being looked after for 20+ years. It took 3 coats, at 45mins for each coat over 2 days (you must allow the stain to soak in).Lastly, the most impressive use was re-applying oil to my decking. The last time I did this with a paint tray, paint roller and extension pole, it took a whole day to apply 2 coats. This time I applied the oil in two hours, an hour for each coat, with a few hours of drying time between the coats.Honestly impressive, and my knees and shoulder didn’t ache afterwards.In use, it’s not too heavy and I’d suggest doing some test runs somewhere before going live on something, just to get used to how it handles. Hence me doing the back of my shed first.It’s dead easy to dismantle and clean. Its only drawbacks are, it’s loud and I initially had some issues with seating the bottle to the bottom of the sprayer. If you don’t fit it on squarely so it’s air-tight, it won’t work.My tip is, before you put anything in the bottle, remove and screw the bottle back on slowly, so you can see where it’s biting point & stopping point should be. This got me out of most of my reloading issues.Also, make sure the rubber seal in the top of the sprayer does not get crushed/twisted, and that it’s flat when loading the bottle back on.Lastly, where possible, strain/filter your spray liquid, especially if it’s been sitting around for a while. My decking oil had lumps in it (where it sat around for a year), and the gun got clogged up. I cleaned the gun in mild soapy water, poured off and restrained the oil through one of those car oil filter funnels and all was good again.For the money, it was well worth every penny, in time and lack of effort required.

Well just used this spray gun today .price comparison to other guns u think this is gonna be not very good .but no this mashine is brilliant it’s fast the fence paint came out even and yes I didn’t take all day to do the job which normally takes over 3 days to do it dont it in 1.5 hours much better than a brush. The only thing is the power lead is to short really and a little bit noisy. But for the price u can’t moan brilliant spray gun definitely would recommend
