There is nothing i can say about the beautiful red boxed tools that hasnt already been said so i will maintain some brevity. I didnt need this especially, but to confuse the household financial controller, instead of purchasing a one off 200+ piece kit i am slowly accumulating a Teng empire. It will go under the radar into the tool chest.The usual Teng standards are upheld with this ratchet. Its keenly priced, the box/carry case is solid enough.It has everything you would need with a 1/4 set, a decent range of standard sockets but also comes with the deeper sets as well as the ultra useful extension bar.The handle is very comfortable, the size and weight is just perfect, it fits into a chest pocket when your reaching hard to get to places, it also fits inbetween your teeth with little risk of damage because of the nice soft rubber compound inserts on the handle end.There is nothing to mark this set down, its red, its Teng, it makes the super satisfying clickety click sound as it whirs into action, the case top doubles up as a nice screw and nut tray should you need it, but hey why not buy a Teng branded magnetic tray for all your nuts and bolts, just because.Another nice touch is the small hex keys it comes with, am sure ill lose them soon enough but thank you in any case.Next up, spanners, 1/2 inch ratchet, magnetic tray, stickers, tea towel. Paint your box red with top quality gear.Five Stars.

If your looking for a mid range 1/4″ socket set then this is the one. I’ve used it over and over again no issues yet, just be watch the two tx screws stay tight. Previous one came apart

the ratchet is not fine tooth but its my second one now and they are good quality and are all life time warrenty. I am a mechanic and I bought these instead of buying snap on as they are crazy money. I bought this set because I lost one of the sockets from my old 20 plus year old set and it’s cheaper to buy a new set if you have to replace much of your old set! you cant go wrong buying this set,its a nice and very useful set and I would buy again.james

This is the best 1/4″ socket set I’ve ever had. I’ve been through two (as I ran the first one over and the case broke) and I haven’t managed to break any bit of it. I find it the most useful socket set I’ve had as its versatile, easy to handle (With the fiberglass handle) and durable, it’s ideal for any work. As a mechanic, I use it for every thing from taking dashboards apart to removing batteries to fixing outside trim. Since the ratchet is fiberglass covered, it makes it battery short proof, so I’ve never felt safer taking batteries out of tight spaces
