    No real issues with this, fine adjustment is a little tricky, but it’s not an expensive tool, so you can’t expect perfection. Once adjusted it worked perfectly for taking a small amount off the front of a solid pine shelf in a wardrobe where access was restricted and I didn’t want lots of dust.

    Used it to take a little from a new gate edge, lovely to use once ajusted and takes off a perfect shave left the edge so smooth. I did have to use some super glue in one of the threads that fits into the cast body because it was lose and spinning when making adjustments, the fix with super glue worked perfectly, this spoke shave will do just the same as alot of other name brands at less than the cost of those.

    I was a little hesitant about this as it was so cheap but thought I’d get it. If it was rubbish I’d just bite the bullet and get a better one.I needn’t have worried, once set up and sharpened it was excellent.I really recommend watching a Paul Sellers video where he explains how to properly sharpen and set it up.If you’re a novice like me, the information is invaluable.
