As a carpenter with over 30 years I can claim to have used many different hammers. The hand grip needs to be wiped off out of the box. Once done it has a very nice grippy ergonomic feel in the hand. Don’t understand what people have made an issue of here.It does everything that I want from a hammer and feels well balancedI use different weighted hammers and would rate this slightly heavier than 20oz and perfect for that extra punch on two three and four inch nails. A perfect first fix hammer with a nice price point so you don’t cry for three weeks when it’ vanishes!I rate this product the full five stars because it deserves the full five!

This hammer is very good and very sturdy. As a joiner i use this every day and the grip and stability is great. It performs as good as dearee brands that i have bought in the past. I like the fact that it has a nail holder makes it very versitile

I bought this hammer because I needed one not because I wanted it and it was resonably priced so imagine my suprise when it came and I found I prefered it to the estwing I have had for 25 years its a seriously good hammer I have punished it as I am a general builder and used the claws to chip away concrete with no ill effects if you want a great hammer at a good price this is it

Just got the hammer today. I’ve had a lot of hammers over the last few years.. I’ve got other 16oz and 20oz hammers. This has a very good balance, the handle has a nice rubber grip (don’t know what other reviewer was complaining about), the side nail pull slot is really neat for very tight nails, the magnetic nail holder is decently strong and the design of it is good. The only downside I would say is that the groves in the design (which I like btw) might allow cement, caulk etc building in these places. Apart from this I can’t fault it at all.
