These are great chisels, arrived sharp, and appear flawless. All the previously high end brands of chisels are now Chinese made. A huge percentage of Stanley products are Chinese made. However these are made in UK (and are shipped from UK so there is a wait). I don’t know why Stanley isn’t selling these in the US and instead sell a short stubby version with a similar name. I suspect those shorties are Chinese but even if decent quality (not Chinese) the short size is useless for most purposes. Anyhow, digressing, I use them for taking samples of construction materials and often use them with a hammer. They take a beating well. Highly recommended.
