  1. R D Gilmour

Bought to clamp an acoustic guitar bridge after re-gluing. Did the job perfectly. Have used for a few jobs since and has worked well

  2. Mal SaundersMal Saunders

This clamp was perfect for the job, thin enough and strong enough to to do the job.

  3. Mr. A. J. Wojtak

It is true, you can’t have too many clamps! As soon as these arrived, I’d put them to use, and still needed more. The plastic covers on the metal faces aren’t attached, but you can glue them on if needed.I got these as I had access to metal stock of the same type as the main bar, so (with a little welding) for £2.17 plus the cost of the metal bar, I have my own 1m long clamps, which is insanely cheap.Yes, you can get higher quality clamps, but all I need is something to apply pressure when gluing wood up in my woodworking projects, and these do the job with no complaints from me. They’re solid metal, simply made, and I can’t find them anywhere at anything like that price. Buying five of them means free shipping, so that means that 2.17 was the price I paid. I am very very happy with my purchase.

  4. Redditch

Excellent for thé price. Unfortunately arrived late, and by a different carrier than listed, but no problem. I have these for a welding job, holding sheet metal in place with I tack it down on a plough wheel. For future heavier welding jobs, I might remove the soft covers (heat would destroy those anyway), and weld a penny washer on the screw side to avoid any pressure dents on sheet metal, but will decide that when the time comes. That said, they do the job, although wouldn’t be any good for really heavy weld jobs, they are ideal for sheet metal and wood working.

  5. Mike Mac

Look out for Add-on items!I bought this as an add-on for next to nothing. They arrived very quickly and are very good quality. Not just good quality for the price. If I had paid 3 times as much the quality would still be good. I used the clamps last night to hold some solid pieces of wood together for gluing and they worked perfectly. The jaws are extra wide so they are a great addition to my clamp collection (even though it sounds so sad that I have a clamp collection).

  6. MR. C of Lincolnshire

Easy to use, happy with purchase. My only minor gripe is that the plastic protectors to prevent damage to the work surface kept on moving about or slipping off, I applied a small amount of silicon, let it set and they are now working well. I have a this product a useful addition to my work tool kit

  7. Mark Chisholm

Bum basic quality but same design and make as similar I bought years ago which still work fine even after loads of abuse. Lets be honest here all you want is reasonable clamping force and whether you use a gold plated titanium clamp costing thousands or a one costing two quid, they do the same job as long as they are strong enough. These are so five out of five for cost and use. Great value.

  8. Max Bradford

At the price I paid the question is not ‘Is this a quality item?’ but ‘do I have a clamp or don’t I?’ And a clamp is better than no clamp. As a professional woodworker you might want better quality with flat surfaces, but if you wanted to exert huge pressure you would still put a piece of wood between… brilliant for the price.

  9. Animal Friendly Shopper

Although these are pretty inexpensive they do the job that they are supposed to do. They don’t quite have the precision feel of more expensive brands, they still manage to clamp components tightly with very little drift

  10. C P B

Great value clamp- I bought 2 and one of the plastic caps was missing from one of them- but as others have commented they are not much use anyway as I always use a slip of wood to protect the work and spread the load. I like the long reach jaws
