MLS100N/2 has a see through blade guard system for improved visibility of the cutting line, mitres 0 to 45 degrees left and right with positive stops a 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6 and 45 degrees left and right and added tip resistance with a stay plate on the rear of the base.

No lock button for locking the switch on the MLS100N/2 is provided; a hole is provided for inserting a padlock to lock the Mitre Saw off.
