I don’t write many Amazon reviews but I feel I need to for this. This was perfect for the job I needed it for, it feels sturdy and high quality, and the tin case is neat. I’m honestly surprised at how good this is for £20!

My 1/4in socket set is 40 years old and has pieces missing. Got this inexpensive Katsu set to give me more leverage when doing occasional work on my Moggie. When arrived it looked good and sturdy but I couldn’t get the extension bar onto the ratchet. Oiling the ball bearing didn’t work. gave it a hefty bang with a hammer and it went on – but couldn’t get it off again. used a vice and another hefty bang with the hammer to get it off again. Only then did I notice that, unlike my 1/4in set, the handle has a button that allows quick release. Oops! I only say all this as despite my abuse no harm seems to have been done. Sturdy piece of kit. Hope this review isn’t seen by the company who sold it to me though, it may affect the warranty!
