Bought this to help with fitting a laminate floor and found it easy to cut accurate floor trims and mortice joints.

Really handy piece of kit although came across it a bit by accident. I was asked to do a job which involved lifting a lot of floorboard (pine tongue and groove) the Irwin saw did a good job, but cutting into floors with the round edge is still hard work so although it will be a big help you will still need patience, there is no miracle product for the proper job of cutting the board at the centre of the joist. After that I used it as a tenon saw for cutting a range of beads, particularly for sash window renovations. I have to say it cuts easily and doesn’t rag at all. Lasted beyond my expectation and that included giving it some abuse by cutting through plastics on occasions.Very useful tool. Good value for money. Just ordered two more

I was replacing a floorboard saw that I had for about 40 years. This saw was every bit as good.- I’ll give a longer review and more details in another 40 years time !
