  1. John

High quality hammer! Perfect addition to my toolbox! It’s very strong and sturdy and does the job! Would definitely buy again! Thank you!

  2. Sam Tyler

I am not a DIY fan or expert and don’t do much of it. Having copious amounts of nuts, bolts, nails and hammers is a waste of space for me. I don’t need to use a hammer very often at all, so this stubby little number from Gunpla is perfect. For all intents it is a standard hammer, but with a shorter handle. It is just over a hand grip size. This means that it takes up far less space in a drawer, but also means that you do not benefit as much from a pendulum swing around the fulcrum i.e., not as much bang from your hammer. If you are planning plenty of hammering, then a normal hammer is best, but for the odd picture frame being put up or knocking the fence a bit into place, this hammer works fine.It is well made and has a nice weight. It does balance a little to the front as it is so short, but the handle is fat and grippy to make up for it. The benefit of the size means that it can fit in a kitchen random drawer with no issues.

The media could not be loaded. This little hammer is very sturdy and has a soft, comfortable grip. It is ideal for DIY jobs around the house. It is made of heavy duty carbon steel, and it is fantastic for hammering nails and removing them if needed. My husband is very pleased with this useful tool. It is very good for the price. I highly recommend it,

  4. Catman

I was very pleased to receive this hammer, It came well packaged and presented. First impressions are very good. The hammer is well made and seems good quality. It has a nice non-slip rubber handle, which makes holding a lot easier. The hammer performs well and the claw on the back is an added bonus. An essential for any toolbox! Happy and recommended to others.

  5. MDMc

A dinky little hammer great for all things requiring a good hammering! Its small but it does the job. Nice to hold and feels solid.

  6. Norfolk n Good

If you dont have one of these, you wont even realise when if you had one you would have got that job done easier and quicker than you did, well that’s what’s happened in my case at least!I honestly never knew that half length hammers were a thing. I don’t recall ever seeing one for sale in a store! This is a hammer with a full sized head and a full grip handle that just happens to be half the full length of a regular hammer. This becomes a very useful tool if you are working in an area with restricted space, if you have partition walls or have made partition walls you will know exactly what I mean.I can know remove nails from spaces I would have had to struggle with a pair of pincers and no leverage.I wish I had this hammer when I was fitting a second hand kitchen into my daughters home and had to modify several pieces to make them fit!The head has been hardened and the handle is a good easy to grip fibreglass job so it wont go flying out of your hand.I am happy to recommend this item to any DIY enthusiast! Happy to help

The media could not be loaded. For small jobs, the Gunpla 8oz stubby claw hammer and nail puller works wonders. It was a lifesaver when I used it to put together some new flat-pack furniture and shelves. It has a nice handle and a good grip, feels well made, and is lightweight.

  8. YvonneB

I never realised how useful this stubby hammer was going to be until I started to put flat pack furniture together. This hammer is an ideal size for getting into corners and places where a full-length hammer would become awkward to manoeuvre to use effectively. This is a good quality hammer and it is a very good weight, it feels as weight as a standard hammer and this makes it easier to tap or hammer in with a more limited movement. The handle is really comfy and the head does come with a claw to remove nails. The only small thing about this hammer is the length of the shaft, that’s it. All the other sections are a standard hammer size and it is brilliant. This is a tool that is so useful and I would definitely recommend it.

  9. Gaynor

I have a few hammer’s already with the regular sized handle but I thought this was great to keep in the house for little jobs rather than having to go into the shed, especially in winter when you can guarantee I’ll need a hammer when it’s piddling down and dark.I’m actually very pleasantly surprised how good it is especially for just under £10. It’s more solid than I expected with an excellent balanced weight for use. The head is a full sized head and works as expected removing nail and tacks. If you have huge hands it may not be for you though as the handle is stubby. My hands are a ladies medium and fit around the ergonomic rubber handle comfortably. With the handle being rubber I’ve found I have a good grip, even when my hands feel a bit sweaty in hot weather.Definitely an item that’s handy to kerp under your sink or if you’re like me in your indoor toolbox.

There are times when a standard size hammer can be a little awkward in confined spaces, and this is a great solution, and a great addition to any toolkit. Quality is excellent, it is well weighted, and ergonomically superb. The rubber handle moulds into your hand for very comfortable use.The hammer head is heat treated carbon steel. Being made of high carbon, heat-treated steel gives strength and durability. The heat treatment helps to prevent chipping or cracking caused by repeated blows against other metal objects. This should give years of good service. It is a claw hammer, so great for nail pulling, and again, especially in restricted, awkward to get to spaces. All in all, a super little tool, excellent quality, and good value as well. I’m impressed with this!I hope that you’ve found this helpful.
