I had to have help to assemble but I am a 78yr old woman who has never done it before but it’s light enough for me to use and cuts the grass evenlyBattery lasts about half my garden but as there are two I charge one while I use one so works out well as I have a large garden

As I am nearly 80 & have quite a sloping garden, I was finding my old trusty Mountfield motor mower becoming increasingly heavy to use, although it is self powered. My daughter recommended a battery mower so that I would not have to deal with a cable for a mains powered one (she doesn’t trust me, I can’t think why!). I am delighted with this as it is light enough for me to carry up & down the steps between the back & front gardens & will do at least an hour’s cut on one battery. It is much easier to use than my old mower & is also much easier to manoeuvre. It cuts very well with an easy height adjustment & the cross cut much facility is very effective, not leaving piles of cut grass everywhere. I would thoroughly recommend this.

Its the best lawnmower i have ever had cuts the lawn perfect. No cables. Also you get 2 chargers. one charge was enough to do my front and back lawn. Nice to have a back up charger. Easy to adjust height. Easy to use.

Really happy with the lawn mower it’s easy to push, several heights to use and also light enough to carry no problem. The battery life is great but we also have a spare if needed, so please we now have no cord to worry about and definitely not as heavy as a petrol one

I bought this after my GTech mower gave up the ghost, It was almost surreal both batteries decided not to charge, The price of new batteries is nearly the same as the as the cost of this mower which I have found does a great job, I can cut the really short it has plenty of power it can cope with my thick grass even if I have left it for a bit, I am pleased with the results, It as good as my previous mower.

I was dubious about getting a rechargeable lawn mower but I have been very pleasantly surprised. Our garden isn’t straight off the house, it’s just across a lane so using an extension lead wasn’t ideal. This means we can cut the whole garden with ease!Wish I had bought it sooner! The fact it collects the grass so I don’t have to rake is also a bonus!

I today tried the lawn mower. It was replacing a cord powered Bosch that was probably 15 years or more old.The old Bosch is made of robust hard plastic and built like a tank.Recently bits have started falling off the Bosch and it was becoming a pain to keep it going.I was spending more time dealing with the broken activation control than doing the mowing. So I decided to get a new mower.I decided to go battery as all the reviews indicated they would save time and be easier to use.I have no experience of battery operated mowers so I was a bit worried how it would perform.Initially I looked at battery Bosch but then drifted to other makes that were substantially cheaper with slightly better reviews. The Greenworks seemed popular and in the right price range so I went for it.I was a bit concerned on arrival because it looked like one of those fragile plastic fisher-price things very young children push round to play a naff musical rendition of ‘pop goes the weasel’. Very different from the Panzer Tank Bosch that could even flatten mole hills with enough brute force. The instructions for assembly were very poor.I ended up watching a few you-tube videos to identify how to assemble it.Despite looking like a kids toy it was surprisingly heavy.I could just carry it using the handle but I wouldn’t want to for a long distance. The grass was still a bit damp on the October day I first used it even though there had been no rain for a day and a half. The instructions say it should not be used on wet grass. However we are in for another week of heavy rain and my bottom lawn needed doing. It worked well. The battery mowed the bottom lawn and did the top one as well which was very wet and long. The flimsy looking grass collector hooked on firmly and worked. The wheels are not as good as the wheels on the old powered Bosch. The powered Bosch ones seem to have small tires on where as this model has just hard plastic.I found the on/off activation a bit harder to use than my Bosch. The power button has to be pressed and a single right hand lever depressed to run.The Bosh had a long piece of metal across the entire bit you push that you had to keeppressure on. The Bosch ‘depressor’ however has broken off so it no longer works no matter how muchI tape or tie it on.I didn’t time myself precisely but I think the single battery did 30 minutes mowing in difficult conditions. So as long as the batteries don’t lose power over time it looks like it will do the job.It is certainly quieter than my power cord Bosch but I am confident I will find other ways of annoying the neighbours with noise early on a Sunday morning.I bought it on an Amazon Prime Day so a healthy £60 was knocked off the allegedly normal price.

I’m very happy with this cordless mower having only had corded electric before. It’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and has a good battery life. As I have a large lawn a single battery doesn’t do the job so I’m very pleased to have a second battery. Price was good and delivery very efficient. Would definitely recommend.
