I have been using this lawnmower for a few months now and I enjoy the experience. It is light and easy to use, convenient to store using the fold-down facility (which doesn’t need great strength to do) and which cuts the grass very well. I chose the model with a mains power cable as the battery ones seemed to be getting a lot of poor reviews, even with well known and respected manufacturers. Maybe this is old stock but if that means that it is still solidly built and reliable then so what? I can recommend it based upon the performance and ease of use so far.

The lawnmower was a bit fiddly to connect up out of the box and initially we didn’t fully click the various items fully into position, so they came apart. Also, the collection box is sent in 2 parts so initially they looked very light and flimsy. However, once set up, the Flymo was light and efficient to use. What was particularly impressive was the lever to quickly change to any of 5 cutting heights – on previous Flymos I’ve had you had to remove the blade with the spanner provided and add or remove some discs to change the heights, which was a bit of a pain! So I used a high cut setting on new turf and then reduced the height as the turf got established. Removing the collection box is easy, although some grass tends to be left in the Flymo, and some falls to the ground, and reconnecting the box couldn’t be simpler! The 4 good sized wheels made moving light and easy, but they do mean that you can’t swing the Flymo from side to side, like with a non-collection Flymo. Overall I’m pleased with this model and at £92 I thought it was good value and more than powerful enough on a small flat lawn. You get 2 yrs warranty if you register it within 3 months of buying. Nearly forgot, as the name implies, the EasiStore is really compact to store as the handle folds easily and the mower stands upright for storage using 2 legs to support it

When unpacking, this mower was very light to remove from the box. It is smaller and less solid than the flymo hovermower that I’ve been using, but I decided to go for a smaller model as I’ve reduced the size of my lawn (my other mower finally bit the dust after 20 years). The handle was very easy to put together. The grass box seemed very flimsy but once it was assembled it became sturdy. I used the highest setting as the grass was fairly long, it is very easy to adjust the height, really like this feature. It was so much easier and quicker to mow the lawn because the mower was light to push, the grass box capacity is good and only had to empty it when finished. Very pleased with this product! Oh, and the stripes look great.

My flymo hover mower died on me. I am in my late 60s and wanted something lighter.I decided to go for one with wheels. I am so glad I did. This is so light to carry or push. It is easy to adjust the grass cutting height. The handle folds down for storage.I have nothing but praise for this mower. I have a very small lawn, I was concerned it might be too big for my small area. I shouldn’t have worried. It is just perfect.

cuts the grass so good. and with this model you can alter the cut level which you cannot with the hover versions. i think the mower also will last far better and less reliant on swing movement of the hover version. which my old version suffered with bolts detaching after a few years use .the grass gets cut finer. and seems to hold a far bigger amount of grass compacted within the grass box.

Good quality best performance, long cable to a medium size back garden, need an extension for large front garden, easy to store, ease of assembly, a bit noisy but bearable and better quiet that petrol lawnmower
