TOUGH MASTER 110mm Electric Wood Planer

The TM-PL113 has a planing width of 110mm, unlike many other models at the standard 82mm. Our electric wood planer machine offers an impressive 1000W of power; its premium pure-copper motor works at up to 16,000 rpm. You can precisely set the planing depth in 0.25mm increments, from 0.25mm to 3mm. This wood planer is equipped with reversible, double-sided blades, which doubles their lifespan.

I’m not sure what to expect as I’d only ever used a planer once many years ago. This was easy to use and it came with clear instructions. It was powerful and handled the removal of a few mm off the bottom of a door with ease, albeit a little messy even with it connected to a vacuum pipe. Otherwise, perfect!

I ordered this electric hand planer as after I had new carpets none of my doors closed, carpet too tick.Arrived in a branded box, supplied loose fully assembled but without a carrycase.I am not a DIY expert but being quoted £30 per door to adjust size made me brave enough to give this planer a shot. Quite nervous before use as planer is industrial size and very heavy.Very easy to use even for a none expert, able to control depth of plane using measurement dial. Can set as low as 0.25mm up to 3mm depth, I started off low as unsure what I was doing. Took me 3 attempts before I took enough of the door off before it closed smoothly.This electric planer comes with a 3 meter cable so have a lot of flexibility where you complete job. Not supplied with dust bags but is cleverly design to fit hoover hose to capture all dust and debris from dust removal points.Reversible blades and very durable product that will last for a very long time.Overall, great value industrial planer that is simple to use for a beginner.I would recommend this product.

This planer comes nicely boxed so you could easily give it to a DIY entbusiast or a professional as a gift.It’s coloured bright yellow and it’s very heavy. You won’t need to exert much force as the weight of the planer does it for you.I had trouble getting it out of the box as I’m weak but my son had no problem. He’s super happy with his new planer and can now adjust a door that has needed fixing for ever. He says it’s very easy to use especially as he’s never used one before and likes that you can attach the hoover to the back of it to collect shavings.Overall its a well deserved five stars and definitely a planer to recommend to others.

TOUGH MASTER Electric 1000WHand Planer===================================Lovely bit of kit, well made, sturdy, powerful. Does not come with a case though. Weight & feel are very good, easy height adjustment and appears accurate, I especially like the ability to switch left and right ports for dust extraction. It worked better than I was expecting, very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Definitely value for money, especially if you’re not going to be using too often, no point buying an expensive planer for odd jobs.

This is a powerful planer with a much needed 3m cable The rubber on the front and middle handle is comfortable to hold and it also helps to ensure a good secure grip. I initially found this planer a bit heavy but once in use I had no problem as it just glides over the boards. There are no dust bags with this but I easily adapted my own vacuum cleaner hose which did fit well into the extractor port I just added some tape for extra support
