    A really good, light weight chain saw. I’ve had mine about a year now and since I got it, my petrol chainsaw has hardly been used. Makes light work of pruning, and even cutting down small trees (up to about 8inch diameter).I have a number of the Einhell Power-X-Change tools and the ability to use the same battery on multiple tools is great. I would advise using a battery of at least 2.5 MAH with the saw, I actually use the 4MAH batteries which give be about 40 minutes of working time. Very easy to dismantle for cleaning and no tools required to adjust the chain tension. 5 stars from me.

    I’m pleased I got this rather than the next one up with the double battery. It’s small and light and easy to handle. Easy to cut through branches 20cm (8in), If you’re planning on cutting any massive trunks down you might want the bigger model but for reasonable branch pruning this is great. Comes with an Oregon chain so easy to get replaced if needed.

    I already had the Einhell cordless hedge trimmer which is excellent so went for their chainsaw too. You have to attach the chain itself to the machine but the instructions are simple enough to follow. The hardest bit for me was untangling the chain in order to fit it. In the end a flick rather like using a yoyo worked. The chainsaw is very easy to use and the safety features are excellent. It sawed thro branches up to 5 inches thick on my overgrown hedge with ease and did not stick or kick back. I already had the charger and 2.0 ah battery which powered the saw perfectly well. Very pleased with this chainsaw and recommend it as quality kit.

    I have lots of Einhell tools in their Power Exchange range. Battery’s fit all of them its a good system. I used to be a carpenter and find the Einhell tool range reasonably priced and very high quality. I used to buy more expensive tools Makita, DeWalt etc for work but this range is in about the middle price range gets the job done.

    This little chainsaw made light work of taking down five off 20 foot tall fir trees. As others have said it copes with an 8 inch base diameter quite easily. I used one 4Ah plus one 2.5Ah batteries to do this. Make sure to use chainsaw oil as the blade really does need it.

    This chainsaw cuts wood very well. I’d recommend a 3ha battery as a minimum. I managed around 40 cuts.
