The electric lawn mower GC-EM 1032 impresses with a cutting width of 32 cm and is therefore ideally suited for smaller green spaces. The high-quality, impact-resistant plastic housing also masters dense vegetation and wild surfaces. The robust grass catcher holds 30 litres and is equipped with a fill level indicator.

I have just given this its first run out, and was pleasantly surprised by its performance. My lawn was very tufty and had a lot of thick long grass in large patches. This cut through it with ease and even picked it all up, despite the grass being quite wet at ground level. It’s easy to use, light to push, although it seems quite heavy when you have to pick it up. The power lead is a decent length and grass box is sturdy and holds quite a lot, mainly because the top area is not open like some boxes, but closed off. You check the fullness of the box by looking through a small flap on the side of it. The only downsides I would point out is that it seems quite noisy – but frankly who cares so long as it does the job – and to adjust the height of the cut, you have to take the wheels off rather than access the usual staggered adjustment on the wheels of other makes. All in all though, it does what it is supposed to, and that is the main thing. I’m happy with it.

Metal blade so it’s easily kept sharp. Nice and quiet, easy to use. Only downside it the height adjustment is slightly irritating to have to adjust all 4 wheels independently but for the price is perfectly fine.

It’s fine for a small lawn, doesn’t cut too low, very light so anyone can use it.

My front garden was over grown but this handled it quite well and cut the grass smoothly. Also took it in to the back and pushed it thru even more of a mess the grass was waist high, this mower managed to deal with it.

It replaced a two year old Bosch which was more expensive than this mower. This Einhell was easier to build than the Bosch, has a longer cable, bigger cut grass ‘bag’ and easy to manoeuvre. And much cheaper. Great bargain.
