MR GRANT EWART –
Fantastic mitre saw. Bought this for doing projects around the house. Very reasonable price for a quality saw such as this. Found the cut to be very accurate. The blade gaurd also does what it says very well. This is a very easy to use saw even for the diy’er. It’s quite compact and very lightweight for a mitre saw so ticks all the boxes.
Mr F.Skeels –
Good value for a quality item.
M. Ingram –
like the portably, accuracy and the size…
Mrs Green –
After some use it had to be returned as everything became loose and unsafe, got a replacement which is working well, only doing small jobs with it.

This mitre saw comes assembled and ready to use straight from the box. Along with the manual is a spare parts drawing sheet and the EU declaration of conformity. The accessories included are a dust bag, a base stabiliser, a hex key with a cross-headed screwdriver end on the long arm, and a work piece vice that can be used on either side of the blade. The fitted TCT blade is suitable for chipboard, laminates and softwood. There are holes in the saw’s metal base to secure it to the workbench but the bolts for this are no included. The stabilising bar is fixed in place by a cross-head screw. There are suction cups on the bar to help stop the saw from slipping but I prefer to cramp or bolt the saw to secure it during use; otherwise it can very easily slip on a work surface. The saw head has a lockpin to secure the blade in the down position when not in use or when the unit is being transported. The saw is easy to adjust for the angle of the cu whether mitre, bevel or compound. The depth of the cut can be adjusted but this is a bit fiddly to set. When in use the blade locks in the up position and you press a plunge release lever when pressing the blade power button. They are comfortably placed to operate simultaneously. There is a resistance to the plunge cut motion so there is no fear of dropping the blade onto the work when starting the blade. The blade cover retracts as you move the saw into the work. The dust bag attaches to the blade housing. If you have a dust extraction hose this could be used instead of the bag. The fence, blade angle and angle gauges can be adjusted should they go out of true. The maximum thickness for a straight cut is 60mm x 120mm which reduces to 33mm x 80mm for a compound cut.The machine is as noisy as any circular saw I have used, which is fairly noisy. It is a strong and robust piece of equipment that will earn its place in any workshop.
Dr Evil –
Very heavy duty saw. I’ve been using this to cut roof tiles into shape and it cuts through them with ease. No effort from the user at all. Absolutely amazing. Looking forward to trying this with other materials as more diy projects come up in the house.
