You have to ask how did you manage before having a multi tool? Makes hard job easy, cuts well with Dewalt blades, though I bought some cheaper ones and then burnt out quickly so choose well. Managed to trim the bottom of skirting board in two rooms to fit flooring using just two 5amp batteries, gets warm near the motor after prolonged use, but not as hot as the blondes. The light helps see the task in hand, the depth gauge is handy but found it annoying. Lightweight, accurate and versatile tool!

I Rarely wriite reviews, however ………This tool arrived 6 hours ago. WHY HAVE I NOT BOUGHT ONE BEFORE? Just did more with it today than all of last week in my new self build timber frame house.It is well balanced, powerful and great to use. The quick change mechanism is FANTASTIC. I was replacing a corded Bosch tool. This is Sooo much better, easier to use and just the best bit of kit I have bought for years!!!

I had to dig out some large blackberry bush roots from a very confined space, I don’t think I would have been able to complete this job without my DeWalt Multi ToolThis is the first time I have used it, it took a bit of getting used to, but hopefully will be easier the more I use it.

Bought as present for the husband and he loves it! Cuts through pretty much anything like a hot knife through butter. It did require replacement of blades after just two weeks of hard use, but well worth the money spent. Great investment!

Last week bought the dewalt 18 v drill to replace a heavy 48 v bosch ( I,ve had around a dozen drills over the years), dewalt half the weight just as much power, better ergonomics so I bought this multi tool. It too is a revelation over a previous corded bosch. Quick change of tools, excellent quality sanding attachement and good sanding pads. The trigger is immediately variable speed from a trickle to all out mental, great for precision starts chiseling door hinges for instance. Dust extraction, depth guage with roller. I have makita stuff (corded), bosch, ebauer (excellent budget option), but each tool will be replaced by the dewalt 18 v version for christmas…… Can’ t wait!

Ive had a mains powerd multibtool and a 10.8v cordless for about 2 years the cordless ones battery does not last long and is not very powerful the mains one is powerfull but quite large this dewalt tool has now replaced bothits as powerful as my mains tool but so light and small its very well made and the quick relase function is a bonus, other brands of blades I have made by faithful and smart also fit the tool

As I’ve only received this 2 days ago I cannot write a full review. But 1st impressions are its a fine piece of kit. There are 2 x 4amp batteries and a charger including lots of attachments. The box is sturdy however it won’t fit onto my existing drill box which is a little bizarre. All the items are held in place with a cutaway foam insert. Dewalt is my tool of choice. I can’t wait to use it.

Great tool. I needed to remove a section of picture rail. This enabled me to do so without any major fuss. The only other way would have been to remove the whole rail or fiddle with a hacksaw. I can see it being very useful over the years.My collection of Devalt products is growing and they all use the same batteries which is great.The box is good and can be attached so others in the same series.

Useful tool for trade. Occasionally used when you can find a tool for the job,.. this is it. Would but this multitool if you have all freaky gear with same batteries. If you’re on Bosch or makita but that multitool. Not much difference. Fein is the best but you get what you pay for. And for the odd job this is top notch and would recommend
