    Bought this as a replacement for a corded tool bought about 5 years ago at Aldi. Only reason for the change is the convenience/inconvenience of cordless versus mains powered. I am not a tradesman or even keen DIY er but I do try to take care of things rather than pay someone else to do themI chose this particular tool because it uses a Makita type battery and charger and I already have two other items that use the same; so I now have three tools, three chargers and 5 batteries!As for this particular tool, I have only used it so far as a detail sander, a wood saw and very effective scraper of hardened grout and tile mastic, suffice to say that it performed each task admirably, so I am more than satisfied with my purchase.
