This was a great replacement for my corded version that finally failed after a hard life. This battery version is easy to use and the new quick connect system makes tool changes quick and simple. An excellent buy especially as I already had 2 batteries.

I’ve been building up a collection of the Bosch 18v ‘one for all’ battery tools and have been very pleased with them; the batteries last really well, charge quickly and the quality all feels excellent. I bought this tool to help with a couple of house projects and now that I have it I wonder how I managed without it. First off, as a sander its absolutely ideal….its light, a 2.5ah battery lasts for ages and because you can adjust the speed you can make it work for any job. I used it to sand some house fascias up a ladder and it was perfect for the job. Then the oscillating cutter tool has so many uses that you are best just looking them up on youtube but i’ve already used it a number of times for making notches in wood or cutting holes in surfaces that would be much much harder with a drill and jigsaw. If you are going to lay wooden floor and will be needing to cut the bottoms of some door frames then buy this right now! About the only negative thing I can say about this tool is that the speed adjustment is sometimes knocked by your hand, but there’s really no-where completely safe to put it on a tool like this, so its certainly not enough to knock a star off. Bear in mind that you dont get a battery or toolbox for some of these tools (i didn’t).

Love it. Now it’s not going to saw super quick compared to a jigsaw or similar, but it works great for awkward or unusual situations. Super great for odd jobs in plaster board of wood where access is not easy. Battery lasts well and if you are part of the 18v Bosch world this is going to suit you well. The attachments are expensive, but not overly so compared to their quality. If you want cheap don’t buy Bosch, but Bosch have never let me down yet and therefore great value for money. Highly recommended.

There are too many users to list here, but I’ve used it for a few different things, including removing ivy from a fence, and making modifications to my desk. The power settings really make a difference from low to high, and will cut through all sorts of different materials quickly, and with minimum fuss and effort.The only thing is, that the level of vibration on the highest levels can leave you feeling it afterwards.The best thing is that this is compatible with the Bosch 18v alliance batteries, so you can swap and change them between tools.

How I lived without one of these before I don’t know. So many uses and cuts down on so much time doing diy. I really love it as tools go! Already had other Bosch items so wanted to stick to the battery range and this has not failed me.

Not had one of these before so nothing to compare it to. Only used it couple of times and it worked well apart from trying to cut through screws which it basically failed at, quicker with hacksaw ,however if thats not an option one of these would the job eventually. A lot depends on the blades used I would think. The dual purpose ones supplied with it failed for the screws. Pleased I bought it though as I feel it may help me out of a few problems. Loads of makes on the market with a range of prices .Do your homework as to what you actually need it for and how often before purchasing any. Me being semi professional this machine is ok for the amount of times I’ll use it but if your’e a heavy user get a more expensive one – with this type of thing I feel you get what you pay for
