    Favoured these saws since doing my apprenticeship. A nice sturdy blade, I find the flimsy thinner blades saws wander, whereas these cut perfect. The black coating is great when out in poor weather.

    When I received this I thought “ooooooooh, this looks pretty cool!” (yeah, I like tools, so what?!?!) but then I checked how sharp it felt on the palm of my hand (maybe not recommended) and wasn’t impressed at all. I gave the saw a chance though and initially it felt pretty blunt – but here’s the thing – I got sharper after I used it for just a couple of cuts. I imagine that there must be some sort of protective coating or the anti-friction coating is on the cutting surface to begin with. In any case, I couldn’t be much happier with it. I use mostly hardwoods and this copes well with what it has seen so far. I can see it lasting for a good while. The anti-friction coating is an absolute blessing!!! Thoroughly recommended!

    As with most products i review i use the item for at least one month first .This saw is a excellent saw which has handled all tasks with ease .The saw has the perfect weight to get the best out of the sharp teeth .I would agree that the saw seems to get sharper after several uses .I would definitely recommend this saw to anyone who needs a quality general wood saw at a fair price .

    This is the same review as the other Bahco saw I bought at the same time. I was so impressed with these saws that this time round I bought two! Absolutely superb saw – as good as the one it replaced. The thicker guage blade make this a dream to use for an amateur who only uses a saw occasionally. Much easier to keep on line than the traditionaly much thinner and more flexible saw. By todays standards, not cheap but worth every penny.

    Best hand saws I know. Do a bit of diy and these blades give me the best cut by a long way. They are FAR better than the 5-8 quid cheapos in all the big stores. A major feature is the blades are thick and retain stiffness for a much truer cut. These are my saws of choice and I go through saws several a year.

    This is a fantastic saw. I have owned a number of saws from different manufacturers and this is by far the best. The blade is rigid for accurate cutting and very sharp. As the saying goes “Like a hot knife through butter “

    I borrowed a Bahco saw from a friend and after using it I decided to get my own as it was far better quality than some others that I had bought. Have been very pleased with the saw so far and am looking to get some others in the range.
