The media could not be loaded. The contour gauge is extremely handy and works really well and very precise with shape and angle. Two are included different sizes 5” and 10” the gauge is made really well and can be used to slid into a section to be cut out, locks to when the shape is correct. Image five will give you an idea of how the gauge works. It is rustproof and high strength and durable. Presently stands at £12:99 and exceptional value for all indentations that can be done. Great for laying wooden floors, going around corners in the sink, that’s just a few things this great tool can do. I feel everyone should have one in their home. I recommend highly, thank you

It does exactly what says in online description.The pair of contour gauges are excellent quality. Both arrived quickly and well packed.The orange one is 25cm long and the black one 12cm. They are also wider than the one we already have so will be more useful for deeper measurements. Corners or edges around the objects can be difficult to measure by ruler so we have this tool to help out on tracking exact shape of the object we are working around. Tiling, laminate floor laying, carpet laying, all this jobs needs an extra helping hand which is gauge. It’s very easy to use it:1. Unlock the gauge2. Place flat by the object we want to get shape of3. Push the gauge on the object to get the shape of the object4. Lock up the gauge so the shape we got will not be lost5. Trace the shape on tile/laminate floor panel/carpet, etc and cut out the correct shape.It sounds pretty easy and it actually is easy.Plastic is strong and durable. The locking system work a bit stiff but after many uses will get worked out. I’m not an issue for me..There is measure visible on each product in cm and inches, that is also very helpful.I’m happy with this set of gauges, they definitely will come in handy this week.I think this set is well priced. I can recomend it.

The 2 pack of BACOENG contour gauge duplicators are an amazing discovery, a solution I didn’t know existed to a common problem that I wish I’d found out about years ago.I saw these on social media AFTER we had tiled two bathrooms and paid someone else to fit new vinyl on the cloakroom floor. They would have been a godsend to do-it-ourselves accurately, making accurate cuts in tiles and whatnot to fit around the toilet pan, pipes and doorways.You might have seen the idea in one of those desktop “executive toys” that were popular when we all had offices to go to and money to spend, like a bed of nails that you push your face into and get a life size contour map of your nose.The BACOENG contour gauge duplicators are made of strips if sturdy plastic pins that are loose enough to follow the contours of the shape you want to copy, then they tighten up really well to keep the shape so that you can transfer it onto the tile, vinyl or fabric.I saw them on Amazon and I thought they’d be a great thing to have for my next project, as I’m about to reupholster a sofa or two. I think they’ll come in handy to help me create accurate patters so that the fabric will be the right shape to fit around fiddly corners.The set of two allows you to copy either deep or long shapes. A good buy.

Cutting around awkward shapes when laying say vinyl flooring can be fraught with problems. Doing it by eye often doesn’t work and you end up having to do a patch. However, there is no need to worry because you can use a contour gauge.This set is a good example of such gauges. They’re easy to use. Move the lock lever so that the slats can move freely. Press all the slats so that they are flat and in line with each other. Now lay the gauge flat on the surface in front of the obstacle. Slowly slide the gauge against the obstacle and you should end up with an exact shape of the obstacle. Lock the slats with the lever, so they can no longer move. It’s now easy to trace around the shape ready for cutting the material. In fact, you get two shapes, one that’s male and the other female. Use whichever makes it easier to use.You get two complete contour gauges in the box. One has a length of 10” while the other is 5”.Overall, it saves a lot of frustration. Hope that helps.

I used to cut tiles and wooden flooring to fit around awkward sections of wall or fixtures and fittings by taking measurements and then making a cardboard template to confirm that I had it right.That was time consuming and often required making several templates before I had the courage to cut the real flooring.Now I don’t have to do that.One of the devices is long enough to get around the toilet pedestal (10″) and the other is small enough to get into tight spaces (total length 7″ with a measuring section which is 6″).Loosen the lock, press the device against the shape than you want to cut around and then close the lock again.Simple really.This will save me quite a bit of time on DIY projects such as laying floors and tiling but I also intend to use it to trim the end of my bath panel around the pipes which protrude from it.

This is a great contour gauge duplicator. There are 2 in this set, 5″ & 10″. They are simple and easy to use and appear to be well made and sturdy. These tools create instant templates for complicated and irregular shapes, curves etc. Can be used in diy to install tiles, laminate flooring, carpets etc. Very useful and handy tool to have. My husband is very impressed.
