    This product is great I have used it on hard dry ground and it works really well

    I never really thought that a hand weeder would be any real use. How wrong was I. It cuts through the soil great, allowing you to go around the weed and then simply remove. I have also been suing it to remove weeds from the lawn and re seed those areas. Bare parches I lift up the patch with the tool and put the seed under the lifted up patch, which stops the birds eating all the seed.

    I bought this to replace a lost dandelion weeder, the one with the curved shaft and forked tip. This is different and is very good for weeding in beds around shrubs if not so good for dandelions in lawns. It looks well made and feels good to use. Not a direct replacement for my dandelion remover but has proved useful in other ways.

    This is a quality weeding tool that should last years. It is well balanced and great for going down vertically on those weeds with long tap roots and equally good when used horizontally to lift up something like Oxalis.

    This is simple to use. It seems very strong and I imagine it will last a lifetime. It does not remove the complete root of large dandelions but I’m hoping over time I’ll exhaust them and they will give up coming back.
