The tape measure has a number of functions which the reading of the small information booklet gives clear instructions. The tape comes with 1 battery, I was a little concerned that should this battery become defection this rather expensive tape measure would be useless. Contacting the manufacturers they outlined that the Samsung SB-L160 battery (Available from Amazon) is a direct replacement. The supplied battery comes with a built in micro USB connector. You will need to purchase the battery charger for the new battery should you decide to buy another one. I would recommend this tape measure apart from the price it is a very accurate easy to use tape. Possibly a little expensive for home use but well worth it…

ACEGMET 3-in-1 Digital Tape MeasureWhen this arrived I was pleased to find that a rather nice semi-rigid storage case was also included. After all this is not cheap to buy so I do want to keep it safe when not in use. The digital tape measure fits nicely one side of the case, on the opposite side is a net pocket to keep the various accessories.Although this houses a built in rechargeable battery, the battery does need to be installed. On the rear of the main body is a battery flap that is held in place by a small screw. I did find the flap quite fiddly to open as it needed to be levered out after unscrewing. I also had difficulty finding how to actually charge the battery as no charger is included, neither is there a charging port on the body of the measure. I did eventually find a small USB Type-C port on the edge of the battery which was not easy to spot, this was briefly mentioned in the manual but was still difficult to find. This does mean the battery has to be removed for charging.There is no doubt about it, this is a powerful measuring device with lots of measuring features which are too many to list here. Along with laser measuring there is also a pull out metal tape to allow you to measure the old fashioned way. The tape is thick with a nice upward bend, so can be extended a long way without the tape collapsing to the ground.The body of the measure is made from what looks like tough ABS plastic, along with silicone sections for added grip. On top is a small display screen, behind that is a central brake button for recoiling the mechanical tape, this provides good control allowing you to slowly retract the tape at a safe rate. There are a further 8 buttons that are used for the various modes and functions of the laser measure.Overall this is a fabulous digital measure that has the benefit of a backup manual tape. This I’m sure is aimed towards professional use as it’s way beyond what home DIY requires. This digital measure and laser is absolutely perfect for me as a professional tradesman and influencer who relies upon very accurate measurements to do my job. The features of the device mean I can very quickly and accurately get measurements which allow me to achieve an end result which is professional and visually stunning.One added feature of this measure is that is comes in a rigid hard case which will ultimately prolong the life of the device given that it’s in the back of a van for most of the time.The battery life is good. The measurements are accurate and the laser ensures a uniformity along all lines.

Review for ACEGMET 3-in-1 Digital Tape Measure, 100m Laser Tape Measure & Auto Lock Tape with Instant Digital Readout, Extended Laser Line & Incremental Measurement, Replaceable Tape, Swappable Battery, APP SyncI have several measuring devices ranging from laser tape measure, laser line levels and manual metal tapes which I have been using for many years. This a laser tape measure aimed at professional use where you need to make lots of measurements every day. The one thing that sets this apart is the size giving a hint that this is no ordinary measuring device. The tape is a combo red laser based measure as well as a metal tape with realtime measurements appearing on the display. The display is large backlit display which display measurements clearly and can be switched between white on black text to black on white. The shape and profile of the tape makes it easy to hold whilst taking measurements. Powered by a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery (charging cable included). The display and all functional buttons are all top mounted for ease of access. The main laser measure uses a red laser for distance measurements up to 100m, and two green side lasers which I really like allow you to mark off required distances quickly and accurately. The tape blade battery are user replaceable to give the tool extended life. An accompanying app, unlocks a few extras and allows storage of measurements etc, however I have not tested this. Comes in a storage/carry case. If you need to take lots of accurate distance measurements then this is great, otherwise this is an expensive nice to have.

It’s a lot of money to pay out but it certainly saves time and effort. Probably a little over the top for measuring up for a new set of curtains but for a tradesman or hobbyist it’s definitely worth investing in.

Lo strumento è molto ben fatto, robusto e performante. Pesante e poco maneggevole in operazioni di rilievo complesse e temporalmente lunghe. Una nota negativa è la ricarica della batteria che costringe ad accedere alla batteria aprendo un vano con l’ausilio di un giravite (comunque in dotazione).Nel complesso però, è un bellissimo strumento che vale la pena provare. il costo un po eccessivo, se fosse sempre sotto i 200 euro, sarebbe più accattivante.
