    Markings on both sides are useful and you can put the measure on the floor and use your foot to release the lock while pulling out the measure – it’s very handy

    I bought this a while a go and use it all the time. It’s easily the best one I’ve owned, the measurements are easy to read in white on a black background and also printed on the reverse. It has a release button to go with the auto hold on extend which makes life easier for me. I have also dropped it on concrete a couple of times by accident but since it has a rubber sleeve around it it is well protected!

    I actually bought this to break apart for a project, but it’s so nice I’ve kept this one and I’m going to break one of my old ones. It has markings on both sides of the tape, which is super handy. It stays straight when extended for a good length. The self locking function is something I’ve only really seen on more expensive tape measures. Finally, the nylon coated tape makes the edges less sharp and so you don’t feel at risk of slicing into your thumb whenever you retract it! All in all a great tape measure at the price point!

    I was fed up with Milwauki, Stanley etc expensive tapes with rubbish blades so tried this.Only just got it but it looks nice and sturdy with clear markings and an impressive 3M stand out! (without the blade collapsing!)Little on the large side for a 5M but very impressed so far
