Simple idea and great quality. Ideal for marking up boards. Easy to read with reversed markings for left and right.

First tape measure I’ve had that is absolutely spot on out of the box. Measuring along a steel rule I’d need at least a low power microscope to see if it was off at all. Also given the fact it’s flat I’d expected actually a bit more lateral play it’s actually as good as a flat tape measure can reasonably expected to be I recon for staying straight.

Perfect for measuring panels and anything with a curve, I used this measure plant pots for example. The belt clip is sturdy and should last a long time. The measurements are precise when compared against my other rulers and measures. This measure comes with a kind of button on the bottom that automatically locks the tape in place when measuring panels, this is very useful. It’s also nice to always have a pencil sharpener to hand.

Brilliant little tape measure. Indispensable at times.Top quality. Large but not too large to fit in your pocket.Obviously it’s main use is carpentry when you can lay the tape on a surface of some description. It also has metric on both edges of the tape which is far more useful than it sounds. When you are using a tape, you will often find that the units you want are on the wrong edge of the tape, so half you measurements are in metric and the rest are imperial. it’s just really inconvenient to try to mark to the same edge all the time. So this tape stops all that nonsense. The only way the tape could be improved is by having the reverse printed as well.Anyway, it’s a bit expensive, but it’s an essential buy.Highly recommended.

I mainly bought this tape for laying out cuts and lines on wood boards due to it being in millimetres and the fact it sits perfectly flat on the surface. Yes it’s not cheap but you get the quality you pay for

These are great tapes, I now have four versions of these tapes and all match up for measurement, so you have peace of mind that no matter which tape you are using is the same throughout.

Well no one touches this tape measure. This is a carpenters tape so it is only really for use on a bench because it is like using a tailors tape. It is a absolute dream to use with laying flat on your work and markings on both edges of the tape so you can mark on either edge. It is so nice to know something is properly marked and cut to exactly the right size instead of it being almost. This is my goto tape measure now for my joinery work and it will remain so.

This tape is flat so lacks the rigidity of a curved tape so is pretty useless for general measuring up.Where it scores is when accurate marking out is required on flat or curved surfaces. I use it for metalworking and in situations where a steel rule would normally be the instrument of choice. It removes the need for 600mm and 1000mm steel rules and is much more versatile. This cannot replace a curved tape but is instead a worthy addition to your measuring gear.

Absolutely recommend this tape to anyone doing curve panelling. Very handy to have universal measuring from either direction too.
