    I bought these for my husband as he’s getting into wood carving. I bought him a cheaper set previously and it wasn’t up to snuff.This set has left the other in the dust. The tools are good quality and hard-wearing. He has sharpened a couple of the pieces. They were usable, but he wanted them sharper. It also came in a lovely box, making it a lovely pressie, and a good kit to keep on hand.Now I just get to wait on the masterpieces 😀

    Very nice set with many different shapes of chisels and gouges, great value for the set! It needs sharpening before use, and it’s great that it comes with a guide on how to sharpen the curved tools.

    Beautiful carving set quality walnut handles brass ferrules and HSS blades, need a final honing and stropping before use comes with 5 year guarantee but with proper use will last a life time I am sure. Box is well made and will keep this set safe and in great condition for the next use. Used these to carve a fox head for a hiking stick I was making for my son who was very pleased with the results.
