Good sturdy clamps, served my purpose well, definitely recommend

I wanted some clamps to hold together glue ups for joinery work. These cost less than others of a similar size but I’m really happy with them. I was a bit worried they might turn up and be cheap lightweight plastic things but they’re not. They’re sturdy, metal construction, and apply more than enough force. I can also use them to hold work in place while sawing or planing.There are plastic covers on the contact points of the clamps that fall off now and again but it’s not a massive problem, a bit of glue would easily stop that, in any case they might be better replaced with bits of plywood.As an extra pair of hands, or to hold things in place for longer than you’d want to yourself, these are a great option.

Can’t fault these, they do exactly what they’re supposed to. I used them to clap a guitar neck down whilst glue was setting and it stayed on tight. If you’re using them on a wood product, as with any clamp, I’d recommend using a cloth between the wood and the clamp to prevent marks. I just wish it was possible to buy a set of two rather than four.

Great clamps for a decent price. Clamped up nice a strong without any issues. Will be ordering a second set soon

Already bought a set, this is my 2nd 4pc set. Bought to clamp chairs while reglueing, ideal for this. Strong chrome-plated steel bar with black cast steel arms. Clamps have a strong hot-rolled acme thread, with solid swivel-shoe. No nasty punched sheet metal shoe rubbish. Hard plastic/rubber handles. Snapfit jaw caps are adequate for light jobs and easily removed for more traditional clamping with sacrificial load spreading wooden blocks. Marked DIN5117, a german standard for adjustable screw clamps. Obviously not for heavy clamping, search sash clamps for that, but great for furniture repair and small jobs.

They seem well made, and definitely do the job. I’m using them for glue-ups so I need them to hold firm without being over tight, and not to fade. They do all that. Good value for money.
