These secateurs have a nice weighty feel about them and seem to be strongly constructed from reasonable quality materials. They fit nicely in the hand and have a decent textured, non-slip coating on the handles. The spring is just the right strength, making the secateurs easy to use, and the locking catch is well-designed, strong, and easy to flick on and off as required. There are some instructions on the back of the packet but these are written poorly and are difficult to understand. The main thing to remember is to clean and oil the blades after each pruning/cutting session. The blades produce a nice clean cut through all sorts of growth, including deadwood, and up to quite a reasonable diameter; certainly large enough for most day to day gardening tasks.Only time will tell how long the blades will stay sharp and how good the stainless steel is, but so far I’ve been quite impressed, given that they only cost around ten pounds.

The Strong Garden Secateurs is a top-of-the-line tree pruner crafted with a razor-sharp SK-5 steel blade. These premium titanium pruning scissors are equipped with garden clip bypass and anvil secateurs and feature anti-slip handles specially designed to trim plants and hedges precisely.

I’m not a gardener and so wouldnt know a professional pair of secateurs from a standard pair but for me, these are doing a good enough job! They are reasonably priced, feel comfortable to grip and they cut my roses cleanly and effortlessly. The locking mechanism works particularly well and is a much better design than others I have had which have a lever design thats ineffectual and keep failing. These secateurs seem well made and robust and are more than adequate for my purpose.

These feel very comfortable to hold with a good grip. They have a button that slides easily to lock and unlock the blades. They cut quite well on a medium sized bush that needed a hair cut! Probably usefully just for secateur jobs and not for really thick branches. Time will tell how long they stay sharp and remain in a good condition. However with any garden tools it really depends on how well you look after them post use.A reasonable quantity pair of secateurs for a reasonable price.

These bypass secateurs are fairly sturdy but not too heavy. The handles are coated with a black rubbery material that is slightly roughened on the surface and helps you comfortably grip the secateurs without slippage. The spring-loaded cutting action is excellent, and the secateurs are almost instantly ready to cut again after each use. The blades are strong and cut effortlessly through branches thick and thin in my garden. These secateurs work well and are worth the current £9.99 price.

I love a bit of gardening especially when the sun is out. These pruning shears are great. They are very sharp and can cut through branches with ease. They have a latch on them so that they can be locked shut which is a great safety feature.I hope you found my review helpful 🙂

This is a good, high-quality pruning secateurs with a nice, solid feel. The blade is sharp, and the handle is comfortable, They are easy to use, and make it just a little easier to keep all our various garden shrubs looking good this summer. I’m very pleased to have ordered them.

Fantastic secateurs which combine practicality, quality materials and ease of use.The blades arrive very sharp, be warned and it did take me a while to find the release button as it looked like a fixing. Once done the action is smooth with no wobble and the handles are not too far apart when open. The cut really well making light work of most stalks even small limbs of trees and dogwood.Very impressed for inexpensive cutters.

These work very well and the price is great. I would recommend these to any gardener.

These pruning shears themselves look similar in size so something I bought in a garden centre, unlike those, this seems to be able to snip growth which the other one couldn’t. Perhaps it’s because they’re new, but I’m reasonably impressed with their ability. They don’t feel luxurious but at the price of £10, they feel good enough.Time will tell how long they actually last, but for now I’m happy enough to recommend these.
