The mower is supplied with only a few things necessary to do prior to use, such as charging the battery and putting on the handle. Once charged the battery clips in the front. There is an additional safety key that also has to be in place before the mower is ‘live’. The final thing to do before use is to adjust the cutting height.To use the mower a safety button must be pressed by one hand followed by squeezing the bar on the handle with the other. There is then a slight lag before the motor starts. Once the bar is pressed the safety button can be released. This sequence is important as it means that rather than applying power intermittently, I tend to keep the bar depressed which obviously uses more battery. I have a number of Einhell power X-change tools and batteries so battery life is not a problem for me as I can just slip in a new battery when the old one is exhausted. My garden is larger than the recommended size and, more importantly, fiddly with a number of sloping surfaces. I find a full battery will not cover the whole cut unless the lawn length is well under control but I would say the battery life is good. The mower is light (for a lawn mower) so works well on my slopes and is easy to carry up steps. The grass box is a reasonable and manageable size and the quality of the cut is good.This mower is smaller than the one I had before but it does not take me any longer to mow the grass as it is so much easier to manoeuvre. I am very happy with Einhell tools and using this mower in a medium sized garden. I would happily buy it again.

Assembly was simple enough. There are washers in the box and I found that these hindered the assembly. It is extremely light and easy to use, it was a bit of a shock after using a cumbersome old thing for years. Not massively loud, somewhat high pitched.I will admit that I used it on damp grass because I was impatient and wanted to try it out. It actually did a fairly large chunk before getting clogged, which is impressive.The quality seems good. It is made mostly of plastic, which I guess adds to the lightness. But it seems sturdy. I like the master key function, as it means I can leave the battery in it for a while and not worry about children trying to use it.Overall currently really pleased.

I was fed up with my previous lawnmower battery taking hours to be ready to use and not cutting all my grass. It was probably 6 years old. Reviews of a new battery were not good.So, arriving is my little red mower. I bought it from Amazon’s give a product a 2nd chance. The detail was lawnmower not used box damaged.It is lighter, effective, battery lasts beyond one cut. Love it! I can speedily move across my grass. Cut in a flash.Thank you Amazon and for sorting a battery for me which wasn’t in my box.

The lawnmower arrived on the stated date.The battery was tricky to install, but I watched a video that helped with that issue. It’s easy once you know how.It’s lightweight and compact. Easy to set up (I watched a video to ensure i was doing it correctly, as the supplied instructions aren’t great). Easy to manoeuvre.It easily tackled the first cut of the season (on the highest setting). The battery lasted and cut 15x18m lawn and 6×6 lawn with no loss of power.I wouldn’t say it’s the most robust of lawnmowers, BUT, it’s not going to be as it’s made of lightweight materials and plastic (the handle is metal). The handle height is adjustable and was okay for people 5′ 10″ and 6′ 3″ tall. It does the job and I’m really pleased with it. I would buy it again, and would think of buying one for my sons when they get their own house.

I have a large garden and managed to break my petrol mower so brought this whilst I waited on spare parts. It was incredibly easy to assemble and very lightweight. My surprise is that I prefer it to my bigger petrol mower. It is lighter. It cuts the grass well. It’s also much quieter and you don’t get the smell of petrol. My petrol mower has since been fixed but I find myself still using this. Battery could last a little longer but then again it isn’t sold for a garden of my size but still does the job. Will be looking to get more garden tools from this company.

I am a female with weak wrists and have never really been able to use any mower with good results, until this little baby. My goodness, best thing I have bought in a long time. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to push and mow, very light, ideal for any women wanting to mow their own lawns. I enjoy it so much I’m cutting my lawn every 5 days. I only have 65sqm of grass and I can get three and a half cuts before the battery needs recharging. I love it!

Lightweight, so makes it very easy to carry up any steps, cuts well and easy to adjust the cutting height. Depending on the size of your garden you might need a second battery, one 4ah battery will just about do a 6 metre X 15 metre lawn

Needed a new mower as my Bosch Rotak stopped working. Looked at several alternative makes. Decided to go for Einhell cordless as easier to use and good battery recharge time. So far, so good, no complaints, am enjoying using this machine. Managed to cut grass in front garden then most of rear garden before the battery needed recharging, so perhaps a second battery would be a useful standby.

After our Honda petrol mower tired after 40 years of service we decided to try this mower and although we don’t expect it to last as long we are pleasantly surprised how lightweight and easy to use this mower is. We have a fairly large lawn and the battery lasts ok. We generally empty the grass bag 3 times.
