I wanted to replace my petrol mower with something easier to move around. Modern batteries are becoming more efficient therefore making this product a real alternative to a lawnmower with an engine. I was able to cut all my lawns, and I have quite a large area, with the two batteries supplied. No more messing around with servicing or buying petrol, this machine needs no maintenance. Just give it a quick wipedown and clean, that’s all it needs. Most of the parts are plastic, so although this makes it seem ‘cheap’ in appearance, this does help to make it light enough to move around with relative ease. The large box does well in picking up all the cut grass, certainly much improved over my petrol mower. There is an attachment supplied which allows you to leave the grass on the lawn if desired, as a mulch. I probably won’t use this. I’ve also the added bonus of charging the batteries using my solar panel so I can run the mower for free. Both batteries together gave around 40 minutes of use, enough for my lawns and they take only about 30 to 40 minutes each to re-charge.

I honestly never thought I would be excited about a lawn mower, but here I am. What an absolute beast, so positively surprised and honestly in awe. We had a 31cm corded lawn mower that was just becoming too much hassle to use with climbing to plug the extension lead in, having to move the lead all the time whilst mowing, it kept clogging and cutting the engine, too small grass collection bag, etc, so we were actually looking for a big fuel mower or a robot mower when I came across this.Our lawn was, mildly put, heavily over grown due to us being away on holiday and we were ill right before we left so it must have been 90 days of wild growth. Long grass, lots of weeds and assorted wild flowers. Lots and lots of dandelions. It was dry on top but very dewey just below, so I didn’t think we would be all that successful mowing it, thought we might need to get the strimmer out and get the worst of it. I was so wrong! It cut it like it was absolutely nothing, not once did it even sound like it was having any trouble, despite having such a big surface area to cut in one go with the 41cm blade. The grass collection bag is big so it was really heavy with that wet grass in it, but fairly easy to just lift straight up off the little hooks- no need to tilt it like on some other mowers. Despite the mower being heavy it didn’t feel heavy to operate, and I think the weight helped us get the most even cut I think we have ever had. You know it’s good when the husband keeps looking out the back door, nodding to himself.We bought this from Amazon Warehouse and got an absolute bargain, maybe that was why my expectations were medium. It was very easy to assemble, although very heavy to lift out of the box so if you don’t have the ability to lift heavy you might want to get someone to help you or cut the box so you can wheel it out. Be aware there is a physical barrier stopping it from collecting grass out of the box, you have to remove this under the flap on the back if you want it to deposit grass in the collection bag. I didn’t notice on the first pass, so had to do another pass and move the blade lower- but it was my pleasure to do it all again. Our garden is 4×5 meters and I cut it twice, plus the front garden that is just a patch of maybe 1.5×1.5 meters, that all combined used up one full battery charge. Much larger gardens might need 2 batteries, but for us one charge will be more than enough to do all of it once+strimming just the edges.We are so impressed we just ordered the strimmer from the same company so we can use the same batteries. I have a feeling we might end up buying the hedge trimmer tool as well before Spring. Will be highly recommending this to my friend who was just mentioning about needing a new mower.

My 20-year old Sabo petrol mower was getting cranky and difficult for me to start. (Plus – petrol mower = not very environmentally friendly, is it!) I spent absolutely ages online looking at various makes and models. In the end I opted for this one and what really clinched it was an (independent) product assembly and performance review video that I found on YouTube. I have to say the mower totally lived up to its promise. It’s easy to assemble, super lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and an all-round joy to use. I actually bought two batteries to be on the safe side but have only ever needed to use one to mow both front and back lawns. Highly recommend this product!

Bought this mower to replace another cordless mower that just didn’t have sufficient battery life. This mower cuts well and the battery lasts very well. Easy to assemble and it does the job that we expected it to do. Got two batteries with this deal so very good value too.

Really great on my lawn, two batteries are essential, but easy to recharge. Very easy to assemble even though one of the clips on the handles doesn’t work properly???. Much more versatile and convenient than my old petrol mower and it seems to cut the grass a lot better.

Lawn becoming more uneven annually due to dogs etc so despite the previous self drive petrol, the lumps and bumps were having me push the old mower around ~140 sqm resulting in aches and strains. Still wanted the freedom of no electric cable so took a chance on this on offer in November. Purposely held off reviewing until now and about a dozen cuts in. Due to UK weather, getting a dry first cut in March was impossible so risked it on a damp lawn. First pass at highest setting 5 and second at 3 and it went through with ease. Nearly 3 months later and already regret not purchasing years ago. The mower is a joy to use and does 140sqm on a single battery. Charging is about 45 mins after use. I can’t cut lower than the 3 setting due to uneveness which means I’m doing a cut every 4-5 days at the moment which is fine because a 1 hour job is now done in 10 minutes. Grass collection is near close, if not 100% and I’m having to push the grass down in the bin on the fortnightly collection cycle (it would never be over half before). Its not going to give a fairway finish but if you want tidy with minimal effort then this machine will see you right.

Well I have used the mower a few times now and am really pleased with it. I bought it because it was very easy to assemble, all you had to do was fit the handle. I am a 75 year old woman and found the mower slightly heavier that my electric mower but I have got used to that now, no problem. I have medium sized lawns back and front and one battery does them both with power to spare and the batteries charge quickly. My lawns have curved beds in them and the mower manages them well. All in all I am really pleased with this mower and would recommend. Thank you

Looks – good Ease of use – excellent. Variable cut height is good and batteries included manage my large lawn on one battery now I have got lawn under control. If your grass has grown or is slightly wet then expect a bigger drain on battery, obviously. Large grass box a big bonus and very welcome. Easily constructed and foldable handles very welcome for storage.

I never realised just how much time was lost setting up, moving and disentangling wire, I can cut both front and back lawns in less time than it used to take me to do one. Also cleaner and less noisy than a petrol mower, I should have bought one of these years ago.
