I bought this after suffering a puncture in my Land Rover and needing to use the scissor jack that they supplied, which wasn’t a nice experience. This jack is perfect. As well as using it on my car with its huge suspension travel I’ve also used it on other smaller cars including a Toyota Aygo so it has the full range of extension needed for a large 4×4 whilst being slim enough to use on a city car.The steel base is really sturdy and the supplied tyre inflater is also really handy.My only two comments about the design are that the plastic doors on either side that house the power cable and pump hoses are a little flimsy and may not last (it will still function though) and that the screw top on the jack, that allows full extension, can be fully wound out and it’s not easy to tell how much thread you’re jacking from, which could cause it to topple if extended too far. If checked properly it’s not a problem though so neither issue stops it from being a 5 star product.

Tried it out last week on my motorhome and was highly impressed, when raising or lowering I found I had to unplu and reset, however found that if you press both up and down together to stop it rising or lowering you didn’t have to. I followed the recommendation and connected straight onto the battery and left the engine running.

Im not one for writing reviews on anything really but I was nervous about buying this so the fact that it does lift my Skoda Superb with ease and after a false start with the wheel gun because it wouldn’t undo the nuts but having to get a four foot bar on the end of socket to undo them manually I can understand why. ( Tyre company animals) . After going round the car and cracking all nuts loose I used a torque wrench to re torque them to 125NM ( Skoda spec) AND THEN used my wheel gun and it works perfectly both for removing and refitting. Just to check safety I also went round after with the torque wrench and BRILLIANTALL TIGHT.This thing is fairly strong money but for me it works perfectly to lift , undo, tighten, and lower to change my wheels.ChrisWakefieldEngland
