I chose this because it has the dual pump which means it lifts very efficiently, it lifts higher (500mm) than a lot of other car jacks and also has a reasonably low profile of about 70mm. It’s been brilliant for occasional use over the past eight months. Lifts my golf mk4 and audi TT with ease and can do so much more without any issues fitting underneath the cars. Heavy duty castors have not been rattled in the course of use and there is no sign of it giving up anytime soon, I expect with good maintenance this will be a once in a lifetime purchase that I will never have to replace! It’s dimensions make it very sturdy and steady as a rock with a car on, which was important to me because i’m always worried the car will fall while in the process of being jacked up but now i don’t even worry because i now it’s un-shakeable (so to speak). The handle is removable and can be pulled apart into two pieces meaning it easily fits in the boot for transport – it would be infinitely more preferably to using the terrible screw jacks that come with the car.Drawbacks, there are only two. One, it’s not good for use in small enclosed spaces, the lever is about 80cm long and you must have room for it behind the jack as it’s levered down. The jack body itself is also quite long although that’s expected to give such a high lift. It’s heavy to lift, about 35kg, so if you can’t wheel it around you DON’T want to have to lift it often, there is no lifting handle which makes it awkward. If on the other hand you’re working in a smooth floored garage it will be a dream to wheel about. Two, the price. I originally had a budget of around £30, realising that nothing in that price range would be as versatile or high performing as this I increase my budget and this met all my criteria. While it isn’t cheap it’s also not expensive bearing in mind a great jack could cost up to £700 so as something I expect to replace MAYBE once in my life I think this is money well spent to have a very capable jack on hand at all times. If it lasts 20 years then it’s cost £120/20 = £6 per year. Brilliant value instead of buying a cheaper one and cursing every time you can’t quite fit underneath the car or lift it high enough.I compared jacks for about two months before committing to this admittedly expensive purchase. Although it is twice the footprint of a standard halfords sized jack and performs superbly. I’m very happy with my purchase.
I buy a lot –
Used on my racecar as it’s very low entry. No need to pre jack anymore. Effortless.

Very well built, wheels move smoothly on the floor. Great low profile with plenty of lift to properly under the car. Highly recommend.

I dont normally write reviews but in this case I am so impressed with the quality of this jack it needs a mention. The build quality of this jack is second to none and it effortlessly performs its purpose. As a few others have mentioned it is reasonably heavy but is a sign of robustness imo. In all honesty it will last a lifetime and some.

Easily the best car Jack I have owned under £200.

Easy to use and felt very confident that it would hold car. Can lift car high enough to get 2 wheels (front and rear on the same side) off without having to move it.Only down side is that its comparatively heavy.

Had this jack going on 6 years now and in my opinion it’s the best tool purchase I have made. I always use to use the smaller jacks but after getting this one I haven’t looked back. It’s quick to get up and got under all my extremely lowered cars even without wood blocks. Never had any problems with it what so ever and would definitely buy again.

These jacks are exceptional. We brought our original one elsewhere but after seeing the price on amazon brought another one. I own a tyre fitting shop, this jack lifts up to 50 times a day and has been doing it for 2 years. Its actually one of our only jacks that can lift such things as a discovery high enough to clear the suspension travel. In comparison we have a more expensive wintec jack thats being sent off for repair brought at the same time. You will not be disappointed with this jack.

Seems to be well made and very sturdy, although only used it a couple of time so far so cannot really comment on long term durability. Easy to use, effortless jacking and convenient twist handle lowering mechanism. Can’t imagine anyone needing anything sturdier for home use, be advised though it is quite large and very heavy, well over 30kgs, so not something you can sling in the boot. Would also advise getting a separate hockey puck jack pad with cut out since most cars do not have a flat jacking surface at the sill.
