These are really great spanners and is my second set of the same set the bahco are really nice quality used my last set for a few year everyday but managed to break the ratchet on the 13 15 end but this was due to me abusing it hard…. Would cost £20 to replace the one spanner so bought another full set instead…. Although the ratchet heads can be a little bit large for certain spaces due to clearance I have no hesitations in recommending these… They really are a great set of spanners for the price 5* I have some wera too but these are my go too set

These are very useful and excellent quality.Spanner’s you never knew you needed.Surprisingly useful, go to spanner now for brake pad changes.

So I bought these because not only are they a very good company for hand tools but also because the idea of cutting the amount of spanners down to just 3 instead of 12 sounded like less weight in the tool bag that is already pretty heavy (engineer)They are a interesting tool as its almost a hybrid of a ratchet handle and socket in the shape of a spanner so it can sometimes eliminate the need for a socket setbuild quality they are very strong and robust especially as I do use them daily for work.the only thing I can say which can be an annoyance is if I need a open end spanner as of course these don’t have them but that isn’t the end of the world which is why I still give them 5 stars.Since then I have added the next two sizes up to my collection aswell as I have been that happy with them,They are by no means the only tool you’ll need as sometimes you’ll need open end spanners aswell but they are damn handy to have as a option in the bag.

It would be better to describe this set as an obstruction access spanner set. This Bahco set more than once got me out of a very difficult situation where a spanner could not fit and a shallow socket was too big. I wouldn’t look at the fact that the socket is protruding as being negative, in fact this was my saviour. Thanks to this feature, I could reach otherwise impossible nuts on my Land Rover and my Mercedes. I added an extra Bahco BHS4RM-4-7 4mm to 7mm spanner to complete this set. It fits nicely into the 3 pouch case along with the existing spanners. Well worth the price. Thank you Amazon

These tools give me a reassurance of quality. They look and feel professional in the hand. I’ve used them only a few times, but they give the feeling of positive action without an suspicion that they’re going to wear out any time soon. I also love that in a very small amount of space and weight, I’ve got a lot of different sizes. I’m still keeping my separate spanners for those tight nuts and bolts that might require a lot of torque and therefore shear off, or simply a second spanner to hold the back of the nut / bolt. These spanners though will be used in the main, just because they are so convenient.

Excellent piece of kit, Bahco has become a brand I can trust.I was concerned that the heads would be oversized and too awkward to fit within the Electrical panel boards I work on, not anymore.My second concern was the strength of the rachet action. Well, I have been using them almost every day since purchase, from the 10mm to the 17mm and I’ve had no issues with them. I’ve tightened panel bolts way past the recommended torque settings with these and they haven’t slipped once.Fantastic kit, fantastic price.

Sturdy and good carry case but can be a little fiddly if working in a tight space due to size.
