Loved this neat, quality, useable and inexpensive set of sockets/torqs/ratchets etc etc. Fells lovely to use, packaged well and appears to be of a high standard, however, being somewhat of a novice when it comes to using said toolkit, I failed to watch the accompanying video which clearly showed there is a ‘press down’ button on the reversible ratchet wrench, which in turn withdraws the ball-bearing within the shaft, enabling easy ‘press on’ of each and every socket. Having not discovered this initially, I spent hours attempting to force sockets onto the wrench, using WD40 and the like, believing it had seized. After much frustration and ultimate defeat, I packed up the kit and returned it via Amazon as Faulty. So impressed with the kit otherwise, I immediately purchased another replacement, only to discover when it arrived exactly the same disappointment with the same device when trying to attach sockets. I watched the Video, which appeared in the listing which showed exactly how the wrench should operate, with a press of a button…. lo and behold, works supremely. Feel such a dope having been unaware of this, but perhaps there are other amateur mechanics/craftsmen out there who like me need education. To conclude, a highly recommended addition to any toolkit, all quality components, ideally chosen selection of tools housed in a sturdy, easy to open box. Top Marks also to Amazon for a no-nonsense, no-questions-asked return/refund policy, gives every confidence in ordering merchandise again in the future from the world’s biggest warehouse. A very satisfied customer.

When my toolbox arrived, the slides to lock it closed were open. A simple piece of tape could have prevented this.When I opened it in the Amazon packaging, there were bits everywhere. If the Amazon packaging had become damaged, I would have lost half of the sockets on transit.!!! Please improve your packaging and the way that this is shipped otherwise you will have many returns !!! Other than that the quality is mint.

Bought to keep in my campervan and needed metric only – looked for a while and found these, (far too many sets had imperial also). Box is sturdy and will last. Inside the plastic that the tools slot into is also strong. The tools provide a very good selection of metric sockets. 3 ratchet drives are heavy with plenty of metal and have a fine ratchet mechanism. All of the tools are well made and the connection of socket to any ratchet/extension arm is very positive. Probably the best tool set I have seen and EXCELLENT value.

Without a doubt, this Wiesemann 80119 socket set is a quality product. Having recently decided to service my cars myself I needed an up to date socket set that was as comprehensive as possible.On arrival it was exactly as described, the quality is outstanding. It has a broad selection of sockets and other bits, you will need to look up the specification as advertised. The case feels robust and should last.One point to note is that this is identical or at the very least virtually the same product as a Sealey AK7955 set Kingsaid 171, Hilka, WGB. It appears these sets are manufactured under license for various brands. The only differences appear to be the colour of the handles on the ratchets and screw driver.Shop around to get the best price, this was, at the time of purchase the best value.

Having always bought cheap tools I decided to spend a bit more a get something that would last, not break and have a decent amount of tools in the kit. This ticked all the boxes and I wasn’t disappointed. The ratchet is large and solid, the sockets are heavy and feel secure when tackling bolts. You get a lot of stuff for a reasonable price. Only downside is the carry case is plastic and over time could break

Solid case, parts seat into retaining spaces firmly and are easy to access. Component quality is excellent and ratchet movement is precise and smooth. I spent some $$ for this because I was tired of buying inexpensive sockets to replace parts in my last set. For residential and DIY use the price might seem high, but the array of tools and ratchet options mean I could dispense with most of the miscellaneous tools I have accumulated over the years and still be better off. I don’t know when I would ever have to buy this again, but if I need another set for general work I would be back for more.

6 months review. I have been using this set a fair bit during a house move fixing furniture and other household things and so far its been solid. The bits are still the same and not sign of a drop in functionality or quality.I would strongly recommend***12 months on*** the bits have started to rust, still very strong, but a shame they are starting to rust.

I am a professional engineer, now retired, trained originally as a toolmaker. To me good tools are a joy to behold. As soon as I opened the box I knew I had made the right choice. It is unlikely that I will ever use all the various screwdriver bits provided but it feels good to have them. Treat this box as if it were a set of drawing instruments. This kit will last a lifetime. These are real craftsman’s tools. But Note: The Blue Spot kit is exactly the same but is £8 cheaper.
