    Bought this non-SDS drill to use with the Souber Morticer which does not use SDS or battery powered drills. Required about 3000 rpm (SDS is about half this rate) , normal chuck (in this case keyless) and good power. Of course there is no point in buying a general tool to do one job so went for the hammer action, power, and metal gear housing.

    Normally I’m pretty anti Bosch but I decided to chance my arm on this one. I havent used the hammer action and dont intend to as I have dedicated hammer drills but so far this drill has worked perfectly and I’m pleasantly surprised . Comes with a nice case too.

    Best drill I’ve ever owned and feels like it’s built to last a lifetime, unlike my 5-year old Black and Decker that began to spark dangerously, made a horrible smell and originally cost around 75% of this one. Keyless chuck is massively better than the B&D one on my old drill that was a pig to get tight enough and then a pig to undo.
