Steve –
This is a great hand router at an incredible price. But my main reason for writing this review is the amazing customer service. This was ordered to replace the same unit that I’d used for 9 months when it developed a fault. I emailed the supplier late on a Saturday afternoon, thinking I wouldn’t hear anything until Monday at the earliest. To my amazement, they got straight back to me, everything processed and a refund sorted before I sat down to tea on Saturday evening. Brilliant!

You can tell by the feel and weight of this small router that it of good quality.Still haven’t set it into my work bench yet but looking forward to using it regularly both hand held and bench mounted.AAAAA+++++

I’ve not had a palm sized router before but had used several larger ones. My use is DIY lever but I have worked extensively in a professional workshop so appreciate better quality tools. This machine is a corker. Definitely worth £90 at full price, mine was £39 so an absolute snip. The entire machine gives the feeling of solidity and imparts confidence – deep cuts with my old router bits create smoke (from the wood) but don’t strain the motor at all. I’d suggest that this is not really (quite) a ‘pro’ level tool – not all day every day but definitely good enough for a tradesman to have on his van.Downsides? … the opening to the collet is quite narrow meaning that changing the bits is fiddlier than it might have been and that visibility is reduced … if you do ‘freehand’ work this might be an issue (would have been great to have a little LED in there to help with this ….). I can’t think of anything elseService was excellent and I’m happy to report that I’m very pleased all round. I’d have been content to pay £90 for this unit, £40 is a bargain.

It works superbly well considering the price. I only wanted it for one job but now I have it I can’t stop using it. It’s so versatile. The operation of it is suprisingly quiet and the fact that you can add a vacuum dust reval system is a bonus. An excellent buy. !00% recommendation.
