I recently had the opportunity to use the EXODIAN 22″ Handsaw, primarily for fitting a laminate flooring, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Initially a substitute for a jigsaw, this handsaw proved to be excellent.Ease of Use: The most striking feature of this saw is its effortless cutting capability. Typically, one might expect manual sawing, especially for multiple cuts in laminate flooring, to be laborious. However, the EXODIAN handsaw glided through the laminate with such ease that it transformed a potentially strenuous job into a fun and satisfying task. The ease of cutting was consistent throughout the entire room, a testament to the saw’s superior performance.Comfort: The soft grip handle of the saw is a standout feature. After extensive use, often a concern with manual tools, I experienced no discomfort or aches in my hand. This ergonomic design speaks volumes about the thought put into user comfort, making prolonged tasks more manageable.Balance and Precision: The balance of the saw is noteworthy. It maintained a steady trajectory without veering off course, which is crucial for precision tasks like flooring. This stability, combined with the sharpness of the 8tpi blade, ensured clean, accurate cuts every time.Durability: Post-completion of a significant flooring project, the saw’s teeth retained their sharpness, indicating robust build quality and durability. It’s reassuring to know that the saw is ready for many more projects, making it a valuable addition to my toolkit.Overall Experience: The EXODIAN 22″ Handsaw is a standout tool, ideal for wood and laminate cutting tasks. Its combination of ease of use, comfort, balance, and durability makes it an excellent choice for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance and look forward to utilising it in future projects.

I dont often wax eloquent about a saw (I really dont 🙂 ) …. but this one is astonishing value at £9.99Its has a sturdy carbon steel blade, a very nice cross cut general purpose saw with a superbly designed tough, but soft feel handle. There is a guard supplied for the teeth, and you need to be careful they are razor sharp.I took them at their word went to the garage, rummaged around and got pieces of rough timber, hardwood, chipboard, plastics and MDF; put each in the vice, and one by one had a look to see what the saw could do. It went through the lot like a hot knife through butter. Its an easy to use 22″ saw, astonishingly sharp – watch your fingers (!)So why the price point?? …. I have no idea, its solidly built, lovely to use, so I don t much care :)Maybe the teeth have a short life aka 5 years, no idea, but for the casual use as a general purpose saw I don’t much care, I’ll buy another one. My initial impression is it will last much longer than 5 years for casual domestic use.Run don’t walk to get one, you will not regret it.

This saw is fabulous! It comes in a paper sleeve, with plastic covering for the teeth. As you can see from the photos, it has very sharp teeth, a lovely soft-grip handle (I do like it being purple, it’s so easy to spot in the tool chest) but the biggest asset is that it’s a thug, easily cutting through wood. The teeth are so brilliant, it makes light work of sawing – the speed I cut, it almost looked like I was a professional and I suspect part of that is the groove for the index finger, which keeps the blade steadier (and they’re both sides, for left or right handers). I think I’m in love – it’s just fabulous and an asset to any DIYer. Highly recommended.

This is a jack-of-all-trades saw – cross-cut, carbon steel and with a guard to protect the teeth (and you!) when not in use. The handle is pretty ergonomic – not the most comfortable I’ve experienced but not at all bad. For the price point (about £10 at time of writing) this seems a decent saw. It cuts well, the blade doesn’t flex too much… as always with less expensive saws, the test is in its longevity. How long will it keep its cut? I’ll come back and edit this review if it dulls too quickly, else it’s a decent budget-priced tool.

This is a great handsaw. It’s a general purpose saw and represents good value for the DIY user. The handle is silicon and comfortable with an easy grip. It makes light work of timber we cut for our open fire. The teeth have remained sharp for quite a while. It’s a great addition to the tool box

Nice all rounder saw that can be used to saw through most things. The saw has fairly small sharp teeth which glide through cutting wood. The handle is comfortable to hold on to and also provides good grip. At the current price of only £10.99 I think this is brilliant for a budget saw to be able to do some at home DIY.

This saw cuts as good as the best but the price is far cheaper. It’s the most comfortable saw I’ve ever used.Just remember to saw using the whole blade.
