I have been using this saw regularly for almost a year now and it’s still cutting well. My only gripe is that sometimes the blade flexes and bends, mid cut. A slightly thicker manufacturing metal may be needed.

Hard Points galore! DO NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING ELSE! I have purchased 3 of these saws over the years – previously under the Sandvik name – and I would not purchase anything else. It’s true you can pick up cheap hard point saws at the likes of Aldi, but if you want tools that will stand the test of time, look no further. These saws are superb because they are thicker than most hard point saws on the market and that thickness makes all the difference, I can assure you! Definitely worth the extra few pounds!

Good saw but took a while to bed in and on balance I prefer the Venom range. This seemed flimsy and it bucked a couple of times while I was sawing pallet wood – nothing too taxing!Update – I’d put this in the shed for a while, my other saw had lost its edge. The Bahco worked really well on the pallet wood that I’d been sawing and on thick (up to 6 inch) logs, so on balance I reckon this actually outperformed the Venom!
