  1. Ben Tullett

Brought this to plane some door’s quickly and accurately. This planer was easy set up and to use. The finish it made was also excellent. Ideal addition to the Makita tools I already have.

  2. Mark Gee

my first planer so can’t compare it to anything else.it will save many hours of manual planing and produce a better finish that I could by hand.great quality as always with makita and a good weight for working with.the small lug at the back is a good addition to ensure the blade isn’t in contact with a surface when not in use.great tool – recommended!

  3. The Raver

bought this to replace my 240v bosch. It does not disappoint. very accurate and precise planing.

  4. Noctonjock68

Very fast delivery and great product

  5. Dimitar

Had it for a few months, someone at the site nicked it. Hope they use it well at least.

  6. Daniel H.

    Great cordless planer

  7. S.S

Bought to replace my 30 year old wired electric plane. Works great. Purchased the optional collector bag as using it indoors. Have done 8 doors so far and can say it is easy to use. Depth of cut easy to change and appears to be accurate. Reasonably light but 5a/h battery using with makes it heavier but lasts ages. Would probably be better with smaller battery and change more often. No cable makes much easier to use. Love it so far.

  8. Steve gambo

    Wow just wow

  9. Matt

After struggling with a hand planer, I thought I’d invest in an electric one. In two minds going cheap vs semi expensive, as I’m not a big user of a planer.Comparing it to the hand planer, for the occasional DIYer this is a great tool. No fine tuning the height of the blade, quick twist of the knob on the front and the blade depth increases or decreases. No more messing about with the blade being level, or being at the right angle. Just press a button and away you go. While it doesn’t come in some fancy case, the cupboard box is good enough for me. Kind of wish I hand more things to plane. The only downside, is the lack of dust bag.And reading various articles about planers I think long term, Makita is the way to go, easy to find replacement parts of the planer. Other electric ones, people mention issues finding new blades. Worthwhile taking that into account when looking about.
