Does the job really well!

What a great piece of kit. Had much more expensive saws that didn’t work as well. Easy to use and cuts with ease. Blade is decent too. I’ve been cutting tonnes of wood and it’s still going strong! Can’t fault it.

I bought this saw to cut 10mm laminate on a sizeable reflooring project . I was impressed with this tool , plenty of power and cut though laminate with ease saving mew a lot of manual sawing . My last circular saw was black and decker model from the 1980s and compared with that this has a lot more power and feels like a professional piece of kit but I will not be using it enough to evaluate how long it would last with daily use hence my saying ideal for occasional DIY use . My only quibble is the guide attachment that was useless with material of this thickness.

Chose cabled saw over battery powered. Had experienced excessive battery drain using, battery saw.

Evolution Power Tools…i after say i sent mine back. made in prc. the blead made in japan good tool.as for thesaw very well made. now if both part wear made in japan. i would still have it.a day after sending mine back to amazon i went to large shop found one cheaper. i at to bight my Tung. i ask the sales lad wear was it made. he told me,? i had found it was designed in Sheffield the blue print was sent to the makers in prc. if i am right there not part of the main country but could be wrong.i bought the saw to cut alloy sheeting. so i tried it out at to make a guider that’s another story. the blead is the heart of the saw bean a biker and bought parts from japan i did think the saw was Japanese. but its not. what some say is right………but i would give it 9 out of ten . i used a grinder on the alloy the nose was bad. now i happy. that’s only thing i after say is wear it was made that made me send it back. the uk as been selling blue print for years that why we have no jobs. but hay that’s just me saying that. Evolution Power Tools are good mind and well made. if it was made in the uk your looking at £250 . keep safe and live long by from j. 29102020

This circular saw has a circular blade made for sawing. Awesome! When you power it up the circular blade rotates rather quickly and if you push it against a piece of wood (or metal), the wood (or metal or plastic) is suddenly transformed from one thing into two. Miraculous! The handy adjustable guide adjusts to guide the circular blade through pieces of plastic (or metal or wood), all (or any) of which automatically double in number. It has a cable with a plug on the end so you can plug it in to any matching socket which you can usually find on a wall in a domestic environment such as a house, bungalow or sometimes even a small cabin in the woods. I’m not sure who installed the electrics in my house but they put lots of these sockets in handy places and the plug on this circular saw fits all (or any) of them. Genius! I haven’t tried cutting anything else except wood but I think it would happily cut through metal or plastic or even bone if you had some intensive butchery planned or had to dispose of a corpse or an old corset. Fantastic! One of its strongest features is the flip-up blade cover which makes it really difficult to sever a finger or other appendage. Even so, if you did manage to get one or more fingers inside the cover while the blade was zipping along at its usual heady speed, you can rest assured that they would be quickly and neatly cut with the minimum amount of fuss (although your ability to count to higher numbers might also be impaired as a result). Tremendous! In short, I thoroughly recommend this product if you have plastic (or metal or wood or possibly bone) that needs quickly and neatly dividing, provided you have a socket into which the plug will fit and have at least one hand with which to hold it. Brilliant!

I don’t use a circular saw enough to warrant spending hundreds on a Makita or DeWalt so I go for good DIY saws. I’ve had Stanley Fatmax and Bosch in the past. I thought i’d try this Evolution after reading the reviews and i’m so glad I did. This saw is very powerful and gives perfect straight cuts. For the money I am very surprised at how good it is. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is my 2nd evolution Circular Saw, the last on i had lasted 10 years before my son lost it !never had any issues with this saw , cuts perfectly , easy to use , goes through anything and the blades last quite a while .i mostly use it for cutting steel and would recomend googles as it does kick out hot chips of metal
